The app
Freefall is a freediving logbook and dry apnea-training app for iPhone. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the App under the terms of Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement, which applies to the App in full.
Freediving is dangerous
Freediving and breath-hold training carry a serious risk of injury and death, including shallow-water blackout, which can happen without warning. You dive and train entirely at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety: get proper instruction from a certified freediving instructor, always dive with a trained buddy, never train breath-holds in water alone, never hyperventilate, and stay within your limits. If you have a medical condition, talk to a doctor before freediving.
Not a dive computer or medical device
Freefall records what you type in. It does not measure depth, time or any physiological signal, does not monitor you, and cannot warn you of danger. Dive profiles and rates are drawn from the times you enter and may be estimated. Apnea tables are generic training patterns generated from the max breath-hold you enter; they are not personalised advice. Nothing in the App is medical advice, and nothing in it should be relied on for safety decisions.
Purchases
Freefall Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There is no recurring charge and nothing to cancel. Purchases are processed by Apple; refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms, not by us. You can restore a previous purchase on a new device from More → Restore Purchases using the same Apple Account.
Your content
Your logbook, spots, gear and exports are yours. They are stored on your device and we neither receive nor claim any rights over them. You are responsible for any personal information about others (such as buddy names) that you enter or share.
Acceptable use
Please do not attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with or redistribute the App, except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted.
No warranty
The App is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude liability for any loss or injury arising from your use of the App or from freediving or breath-hold training, and for any loss of logbook data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under the law of your country.
Changes
We may update these terms; the current version always appears on this page with its effective date.
